Even though I really like this model, when I make cappuccinos, I would wish that the cream be frothier. My remedy was to take the frother off and use only the stem as a shorter version of the feature. But, I am a fan of being able to hot milk or coffee. It's a mean and lean coffee making machine! You can select between mixed single or double espresso shots via the varied capsules that the machine comes with and swapping them isn't so costly. The water reservoir is easy to use, refill and to remove, but ensure that you lock into place or the very hot part does not work as well. But not to worry as, if every thing isn't properly in place, the machine will let you know.

Overall, that is what I have to say about the Krups XP4050 espresso machine.

It can be used in many ways.

It's not costly.

You can take it with you wherever you go.

It makes great coffee.

Catchment tray is a bit small.

I'm not very impressed by the main spout.

Overall, I'm of the opinion that this maker comes in at second place of all the ones available.
